The Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area on Monday, 12th October 2026, held the Official Bid Opening Ceremony for the construction of Bodcat Road, .
The ceremony, which took place at the Council Secretariat, was presided over by the Vice Chairman and Chairman, Tender Board Committee, Hon. Akintola Falade.
In his opening address, Hon. Falade reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability and due process, assuring that the process will be fair, open and competitive, with no favouritism.
Contractors Promise Quality Delivery
Three bidding companies — KASLUM Construction Ltd, ZIM Project Construction Ltd, and KAD-T Project Construction Innovation Ltd — spoke respectively, with huge promises of delivering quality construction that will stand the test of time.
In line with due process, the Head of Procurement Unit, Mr Shittu who is also the Secretary of the Bid Opening Committee, transparently presented the Bid Box, opened it, and brought out the bids for the attention of the seated audience.
Lagos State Public Procurement Agency(PPA) , Commends Mosan-Okunola LCDA
The Representative from the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency, Engr. Agbola, in his remarks, commended the administration of Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi for adhering to the stated rules and ensuring that transparency and accountability are observed.
Also speaking, the Community Development Committee (CDC) Secretary, Mr. Femi Ojo, appreciated the due process of the bid opening and implored the contractors to be committed to delivering good jobs.
In his vote of thanks, the Council Manager, Mr. Joseph Abiodun, appreciated everyone present and noted that all the projects are for the stakeholders. He therefore urged residents to be part of the success stories by visiting the sites during construction, as the roads are for their use. The Council Manager also offered the closing prayer.
The Mosan-Okunola LCDA remains committed to infrastructural renewal and people-oriented development.
