…A Chairman Who Leaves No Stone Unturned In Making Her People Progressive And Independent…
Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, has graduated over 150 youths trained in Digital Marketing and Digital Fashion Illustration.
The initiative is a clear demonstration that the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, has left no stone unturned in her drive to make the people of Mosan-Okunola progressive and independent after being trained on various vocational skills.

Speaking on behalf of GIZ, Mr. Ayomikun Olugbode commended the Chairman for her uncommon commitment, noting that while organisations can provide ideas and support, it takes dedicated local leadership to translate them into meaningful opportunities for residents.
The colourful ceremony was attended by the Executive Chairman; Leader of the House, Hon. Oluwatosin Afuape SNR; SLG, Hon. AbdulHameed Ayodele Alawaye; Supervisors, Special Advisers, Chief of Staff, Hon. Tolulope Falope, and Management Staff.
Addressing the graduands, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi charged them to put their skills to productive use. “I believe in putting the right thread in the right hole. I am seeing future CEOs here. Don’t just get a certificate to boost your CV — learn to earn,” she said.
She disclosed that the Council has provided start-up kits/equipment for all beneficiaries, while GIZ will support each with N100,000, and that a monitoring committee will be set up to ensure judicious use of the resources.
Beneficiaries appreciated the Chairman, GIZ and facilitators Mr. Gbenga Elebiyo and Mr. Fapounda Oluwabusayo Abraham.
The graduation once again affirms the Adunni-led administration’s commitment to human capital development, digital inclusion and practical empowerment for sustainable growth in Mosan-Okunola LCDA.
