Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi has built an impressive political career marked by dedication to grassroots mobilization, women empowerment, and party loyalty within Lagos State’s political landscape.
Her journey began as the Secretary of Ward D (Zone One) under the Alliance for Democracy (AD), where she played a pivotal role in community coordination and party organization.
She further demonstrated her commitment to women’s involvement in politics as the Secretary of the Democratic Women Forum in Mosan Okunola LCDA, still under the AD.
As the political climate evolved, she continued her activism within the progressive fold, serving as Treasurer of The Mandate Group in Mosan Okunola LCDA — a key political structure within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Her influence expanded during the 2019 and 2023 election cycles when she served as Secretary of the Sanwo-Olu Independent Campaign Group (ICG)
Directorate of Women Affairs, contributing significantly to grassroots mobilization efforts that supported Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s victories.
She serves as the State Women Leader of The Mandate Women (TMM), a position she has held since 2023, where she continues to champion the cause of women in politics across Lagos State.
In 2022, she made history by becoming the All Progressives Congress (APC) LGA Party Chairman for Mosan Okunola LCDA, a position she holds till April 2025.Her leadership has strengthened party cohesion and deepened democratic engagement within the LCDA.
She currently the Executive Chairman of Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area.
